Service Description
The goal of this course is to give you more tools to provide the best possible care to persons with Dementia. Learning about dementia allows you to create a deeper understanding of how the brain is affected and increase compassion towards the person. It is important to recognize the differences between dementia and other conditions that may look like dementia. It is your job to understand and adapt to provide a safe, compassionate environment in order to improve quality of life. This course requires a Student Handbook. Please sign up 3-days prior to the course to allow for shipping/delivery time.
